Kent Business School has the pleasure of inviting you to our upcoming business soundbites session, organised in partnership with Santander UK, on SMEs and access to finance on Thursday 6 June from 5pm onwards, in the Sibson building on our Canterbury campus.

In this session, we explore what types of funding are available to small and medium-sized companies (such as loans, grants, Venture Capital, crowdfunding or share capital) and provide a platform to SMEs to share their experiences and challenges in accessing these various types of funding.

Dr Ortenca Kume, senior lecturer in Finance at Kent Business School, will share the outcomes of her research in this area, followed by two short case studies of a biomedical and tech start-up respectively. A round table discussion will give guests the opportunity to share their own stories and, finally, a small team of finance experts will provide a succinct overview of available routes to additional funding.

The event is FREE but places are limited so book your place now.
