New Horizons in Life Science & Healthcare
Building on the evolution of the past 18 years, Genesis 2019 will assemble senior executives and decision makers from across the Life Science, Healthcare and Technology field to present, discuss and demonstrate their collective insight and thought leadership for the sector, themselves and their stakeholders.
Recent years have been transformational for the sector in many ways. The benefits of advances in fields such as biomedical research, technology, materials science and clinical practice have continued to contribute to improved patient outcomes in fields including oncology, metabolic diseases and neuroscience to name but a few. Moreover, advances in communication strategies, patient engagement and health economics have influenced how innovative products may be valued, adopted and funded. These factors are combining to enable increased understanding by scientific and clinical research professionals, patients and payers which in turn enables investors to further understand the route to market and hence business models required to invest in innovative solutions for global healthcare challenges.
Changes in politics, regulation and economics, both within and outside of the sector have significant impact on international collaboration, financial markets, healthcare access and hence how the benefits of such advances are realised by patients. Under the overarching theme of New Horizons in Life Science & Healthcare our 19th Annual Genesis Conference, will take place on Wednesday 11 December 2019 in London. The event will again engage all the key elements for those active in R&D, finance, policy making and service provision across Life Sciences, Digital and Health Technology fields in creating a vision of how the sector will conquer new challenges, reach new territories and engage an ever-increasing stakeholder around the world. Over 70 expert speakers and panellists will lead sessions discussing which approaches will deliver better outcomes for patients, investors and payers.
